Since 2016, DOITSU CENTER LTD. has participated in the Tokyo Christmas Market as the only stall selling authentic German Christmas pastries, and now as the demand for stollen has grown significantly across Japan, more and more Japanese consumers are seeking our authentic German stollen.
Although British products are the most popular among imported goods in Japan, British "Christmas" products are not so well-known as German Christmas products, because most Japanese tend to associate Christmas more with Germany than with the UK. In Britain we often see Italian Christmas pastry, 'Panettone,' but German stollen is rarely found.
